  • 12 slices regular-cut or thin-cut bacon
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (or to taste)
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Optional: 1 tbsp brown sugar or maple syrup

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  • Gather 3-5 asparagus spears into bundles. Drizzle with olive oil, then season with salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder.
  • Wrap one slice of bacon around each asparagus bundle, starting at the bottom and spiraling upwards. Secure ends by tucking or using a toothpick if necessary.
