Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Beat in the whole egg, then the egg yolk, one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
