- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 2 ripe avocados, mashed or cubed
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 small jalapeño, seeded and minced (more or less to taste)
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
- 1–2 tbsp hot sauce (your favorite brand), to taste
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 4–6 medium (8-inch) flour tortillas
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the mashed avocado, lime juice, sour cream/Greek yogurt, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Gently mash and stir until well combined, leaving some avocado chunks for texture.
- Add the cooked chicken, red onion, cilantro, and minced jalapeño to the avocado mixture. Fold gently until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- Lay a tortilla flat. Spoon a generous amount of the chicken and avocado mixture down the center.
- Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then tightly roll from one end to create a neat wrap. Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling.
- Optional: For a warm wrap, heat a dry non-stick pan over medium heat. Place wraps seam-side down and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until lightly golden and warmed through.
