- 6 slices good quality sandwich bread (sourdough, whole wheat, or multi-grain)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 medium ripe avocados
- 1/2 lb thinly sliced deli turkey breast
- 6–8 slices turkey bacon, cooked until crispy
- 4–6 green leaf lettuce leaves
- 2 medium ripe tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional)
- Long toothpicks or small skewers for securing
Instructions
- 1. Prepare Ingredients: Cook turkey bacon until crispy. Mash avocados; mix with mayonnaise, ranch seasoning, and lemon juice. Slice tomatoes and red onion. Set aside.
- 2. Toast Bread: Lightly toast three slices of bread per sandwich. Allow to cool slightly.
- 3. Layer for Success: On the first slice of toast, spread avo-ranch, then layer with lettuce, half of the turkey, and turkey bacon. Place the second toast on top, spread avo-ranch on both sides. Add more lettuce, sliced tomato, remaining turkey, and red onion (if using). Place the final toast, with avo-ranch on the underside, on top.
