  • 6 slices good quality sandwich bread (sourdough, whole wheat, or multi-grain)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 medium ripe avocados
  • 1/2 lb thinly sliced deli turkey breast
  • 68 slices turkey bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 46 green leaf lettuce leaves
  • 2 medium ripe tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional)
  • Long toothpicks or small skewers for securing

Instructions

  • 1. Prepare Ingredients: Cook turkey bacon until crispy. Mash avocados; mix with mayonnaise, ranch seasoning, and lemon juice. Slice tomatoes and red onion. Set aside.
  • 2. Toast Bread: Lightly toast three slices of bread per sandwich. Allow to cool slightly.
  • 3. Layer for Success: On the first slice of toast, spread avo-ranch, then layer with lettuce, half of the turkey, and turkey bacon. Place the second toast on top, spread avo-ranch on both sides. Add more lettuce, sliced tomato, remaining turkey, and red onion (if using). Place the final toast, with avo-ranch on the underside, on top.
  • 4. Secure and Slice: Insert two toothpicks through the sandwich. Using a sharp serrated knife, slice diagonally through the middle of each toothpick to create two triangles (or quarters). Serve immediately.
