Creamy Garlic Chicken Ramen

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Description

Indulge in this unbelievably rich and flavorful creamy garlic chicken ramen. Featuring tender chicken and perfectly coated noodles in a velvety garlic-ginger sauce, it’s a comforting dish that’s surprisingly easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs, sliced thinly
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 servings ramen noodles (without seasoning packet)
  • 2 green onions, sliced, for garnish
  • Optional garnishes: soft-boiled eggs, sriracha, chili oil, sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prep Your Chicken. Season sliced chicken thighs with salt and pepper. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and sear chicken until browned and cooked through (3-5 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  • Step 2: Cook the Ramen Noodles. Boil water in a separate pot. Cook ramen noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Step 3: Build the Flavor Base. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and soy sauce, bringing to a gentle simmer.
  • Step 4: Create the Creamy Sauce. Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream and allow to warm through (do not boil). Add sesame oil and season with salt/soy sauce to taste.
  • Step 5: Combine & Serve. Add cooked ramen noodles and seared chicken back into the creamy sauce, tossing to coat. Divide into bowls and garnish with sliced green onions and any optional toppings. Serve immediately.
