  • 810 popsicle sticks or bamboo skewers
  • 1 cup (240g) full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 12 tablespoons honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 cup (170g) chocolate chips (dark, milk, or white) – optional
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for chocolate coating)
  • Various toppings: chopped nuts, sprinkles, shredded coconut, mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Prepare Bananas: Peel bananas and cut each in half. Insert a popsicle stick into each half. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • 2. Mix Yogurt Coating: In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, sweetener, and vanilla extract (if using). Stir until smooth.
  • 3. Dip Bananas: Dip each banana into the yogurt mixture, coating evenly. Let excess drip off and place back on the baking sheet.
  • 4. Freeze Yogurt Coating: Freeze for 2-3 hours, or until the yogurt is fully solid.
  • 5. Add Chocolate & Toppings (Optional): Melt chocolate with coconut oil. Dip frozen pops into melted chocolate, then immediately add desired toppings. Return to freezer for 15-30 minutes to set chocolate.
