Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups green grapes
- 4–5 kiwis, peeled and sliced into rounds or quarters
- 1/2 small honeydew melon, cut into 1-inch cubes or balled
- 2 medium green apples (Granny Smith recommended), cored and cut into 1-inch chunks
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice (for apples, plus more for dip)
- 12–15 wooden or metal skewers
- For the Optional Lime Yogurt Dip:
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2–3 tbsp honey or maple syrup (to taste)
- 1 tsp lime zest
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
Instructions
- 1. Prepare the Fruit: Wash all fruit thoroughly. Pluck grapes from stems. Peel and slice kiwis. Halve, seed, and cube/ball the honeydew. Core and chunk the green apples. Immediately toss the apple chunks with 1-2 tbsp fresh lime juice to prevent browning.
- 2. Assemble the Kabobs: Carefully thread the prepared green fruits onto the skewers, alternating fruits to create an appealing pattern. Don’t overcrowd them.
- 3. Chill (Optional but Recommended): Arrange the assembled kabobs on a platter, cover loosely, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow them to chill and flavors to meld.
- 4. Make the Dip (Optional): In a small bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, lime zest, and 1 tbsp lime juice until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness/tartness as desired.
- 5. Serve: Arrange the chilled green fruit kabobs with the optional lime yogurt dip alongside. Enjoy immediately!
