- 2 (21 ounce) cans strawberry pie filling
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 (15.25 ounce) package white cake mix (dry)
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- 1. Prepare Pan: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- 2. Layer Strawberries: Spread both cans of strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared dish.
- 3. Prepare Cream Cheese Layer: In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy. Drop spoonfuls of this mixture over the strawberry layer and gently spread.
- 4. Add Cake Mix: Evenly sprinkle the dry white cake mix over the cream cheese layer, covering completely.
- 5. Drizzle Butter: Pour the melted butter slowly and evenly over the dry cake mix, ensuring as much of the mix as possible is saturated.
- 6. Bake: Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit filling is bubbly around the edges.
- 7. Cool and Serve: Let the dump cake cool for at least 30-60 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature, perhaps with ice cream or whipped cream!
